Peculiar Island is an independent film series based in Bali, Indonesia. Our work is concerned with places, the people connected to them, and the stories that emerge through observation. We bring the same care to the information you choose to share with us.

This policy explains what may be collected through the website, why, and how it may be used.

Visiting the website does not require personal information. We may receive information when you RSVP to a screening, contact us by email, submit a form, or subscribe to updates — which may include your name, email, phone number, organisation, or anything you choose to include.

If you RSVP to an event, your information is used to manage attendance, communicate event details, and contact you about changes relating to that event. Submitting an RSVP does not subscribe you to unrelated promotional communication.

Where an RSVP is collected through a third-party service such as Google Forms, your information may also be processed by that service according to its own privacy practices.

As a film project, we may occasionally document screenings and public gatherings through photography or video. When documentation is taking place, we aim to make this reasonably clear to guests.
